Make him scream out down like a sound dug because the Rooks in the clown like a blah blah tuned into the church from the Outdog, tuned into the church from the outlog. Welcome to the Outlaws. This is Darby O the Kingpinn Marrow alongside Robin O'Malley. Dante Bright is not and today don't forget too like. It's on Facebook and Facebook dot com, slash the Outlaws Radio, follow us on Twitter and Instagram at the Outlaws Radio. First of all, our our co host is not here Um because he suffered a death in the family, so we wanna sent out our condolence is as well as always you know, we're thinking about our brother Um and condolens to him and this fan. Uh, mister O'Malley, how are you? Uh? You know what. I'm on the fence. I think I'm good. I think i'm good. I'm good now, I'm good. Now. It's it's been one one heck, of a week for me. But yeah, I'm good now, you know what, and you know what else, The school year is almost over. I'm ecstatic about it. It is. It doesn't even y' what is it. It's it's about to be yes, it's about to be made in June. The beginning of June is the end of the school year. Oh wow. Yeah. So I mean, like, I love that my kids go to school and learn, you know, and they get out of my hair. I love it. But you know, it's the it's the stress of it, you know, And I have a teenager, so I have to battle this teenager tweak up. Come on, you're gonna get out of bed. You know bad? You know, you know you know how that good soever through there. I remember my mother used to like do it. She did a Jedi mind trick with being and it kicked my ass. It was, you know, like when you're a kid, you always want to stay up late, blah blah blah. Right, So I think it was in like sixth grade and my mother was like, all right, she said, you now, I had to get up I think at like seven o'clock in the morning every day, right, I think that was the time I had to get up in order to be to get ready in time and enough time to go to school and for her to go to work because she would take me to school before she would work or whatever. And I'll never forget. She was like, because I was fighting her, but I wanted to want to stay up late, right, And she was like, well, you can stay up as long as you won't, but when it comes seven o'clock, you gotta get up. You're like, I don't care if you had eight hours to sleep or two hours of sleep. You're getting up a seventh slot, right. And so I was like, all right, cool, you know, being a stupid kid, right, So I tried that once. Right, Sure enough, I ain't get no extra minutes. I ain't get nothing seven o'clock get up, right. So eventually I learned myself. I was like, you know what, I don't like this. This doesn't feel good. I don't like going to school on like three hours of sleep. I should probably go to sleep. So my mother Jedi mind, tricked me. She was like, okay, did you stamp as long as your mont to as long as you get up seven o'clock in the morning. Oh yeah, you're getting up, ye get up before and man, I was so dull on tired, and then you gotta do ass work and the teacher's getting on your nerves? Could you tie it? You just want them to shut up, like you wanting to go to sleep. Yeah, so I learned. I learned very quickly. The stand up late was a bad And then we grow into adults and we try it again. Yeah, it don't work. It don't work. It's listen, it don't it's no because as an adult, all staff and watch Netflix or something, you know, and I'm like, you know, you're into a series and you're just like, oh, just one more, just one more, and you hit one more again, you hit next again. Next thing you know, you're up as three four in the morning, you gotta get up at six? No, did you do? Like you know, we used to be able to do this with no problem. Right now, if I'm if I'm up late, if I'm pulling an all night or whatever, and I've only got a couple hours to sleep, do you know it takes me like two days to fully recover from. Yes, Like I meet the biggest nap ever. Oh man, it just you mean sitting They're like, oh my god. And then and you know how this is like when you get when you're used to waking up early, Like you still wake up most of the time no matter how. So it'll be times where I like, I go to sleep and is I went to sleep late and I wake up early and I'm mad because I because I can't go back to sleep, and I'm like, damn, and I know what's gonna happen. Now I'm up, but I'm gonna be tired in the middle of the day. Yeah, oh my god, Yes, I've had it happened where like I like how you said, you know, you're you're on a set schedule. Your body's on a schedule, and it's like not that you I act have accidentally woke up, But there's times where what I will say, it was accidentally, like where you're like, for example, if you're on spring break or something like with my kids or something, or if I don't have to work, you know what I mean, Like things like that that I've had to do, you know what I mean, When you're on a set schedule and then when you like don't have to do that schedule for a while and your body just keeps waking up at six in the morning. Just keeps waking you up, and you're like, tag man, come on, I know you try, you like you like, you know, let me try to go back to sleep. I'm gonna I'm gonna give that. Don't work, No, it don't. No. Your mind be bouncing all over the place and you're like, damn yes, and I'll be laying there like robbin shut up, like stop thinking, stop thinking. It's crazy. It's absolutely crazy. So uh oh, I totally forget to see again. That's that, you know, that's that thirty plus you know what I'm saying. I was like, wait a minute, what was I gonna say? Um So, I just want to I want to give a quick shout out. I know many of you, especially those of you who listen to the show, who watch cable news, you know that, uh Fox News let go of Tucker Crossing. Their biggest their biggest star who's at eight o'clock, used to do the anclock show every day and they're doing like rotating hosts. And next week, by the time you hear this, it'll be the start of next week. A friend of the show, a friend of mine, Lawrence B. Jones, is going to be filling in as as a guest host all week next week in the biggest prime time slot in cable television. I believe it's a rarity for an African American to be in that spot. So I want to send a shout out to Lawrence Jones. He's been on this show long time. Listeners of this show noted he's been on this show before, So I want to set a special shout out to Lawrence Jones. I'll be watching all week, man, and I hope Fox Fox News should give him that spot. Give Lawrence Jones that eight o'clock make him the permanent host. So those of you who listen to this show who want to support, make sure that y'all tune in every day next week. Let them see the ratings, and you know what I'm saying. So hopefully Fox News and make it make what I believe personally is the right decision and give Lawrence B. Jones that that primetime slot permanently. So shout out to you, brother, Congratulations man, and I know you're gonna knock it out of the park like you always too. And now we have a special interview that we're gonna get to right now. All right, we have a very special guest on the show today. I have been asking her for forty seven years to come on this show, and I'm glad we've finally been able to make this happen. She is one of my best friends in the higher world and is running to be the national chair of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly. Elsa Slider, Welcome to the show. How are you. I'm great, Thank you for having me on. Awesome, Awesome, it only took forty seven years, but we got it, you know, I feel UM. So, first of all, UM, it's I think it's really awesome. I've told you off air. UM, I think it's really awesome that you're running UM to be chair of the RNHA. UM. First, tell people, for people who don't know, tell people a little bit about what the RNHA is and what it does. It's a outreach UM organization for conservative Hispanics. UM. It started, you know, back in I believe it was sixty seven, so it's been around. It's it's kind of like the ogs of a Hispanic organizations on the Republican side, and we've done a lot of outreach and trying to get people to remember that our Hispanic values and traditions are tend to be more conservative, and it's kind of one of those things where we when we're doing outreach, that's our big goals to remind people like where we came from and why we're here in America and why we're doing what we're doing, and you know, make sure we try to get people to vote, you know, for conservative values. So it's needed, it's needed, and it's exciting. I'm actually really excited to get back on board. This organization has been a blast of work for in the past, and I'm hoping that this time around will be even better. And I know one thing that we've kind of talked about before in our conversations, and I mean most people who know you followed me on social media, you know I'm really big on on outreach, and I will you know, figuratively speaking country Republicans in the nose when they're doing poor job on outreach people of color from Based on some of the conversations that we've had, you also understand the importance of outreach. Two people of color. Talk a little bit about what you plan to bring should you become a chair to the RNHA as far as outreach efforts and stuff like that. So one of the things I believe that we need to do is get, like I said before, back into the bringing out like the culture and getting involved in like activities that you know, happens within communities, being present. I feel like the Publican Party hasn't really been present like they should be, you know. So there's a lot of events that take place that you know, for different festivals and stuff celebrations that we have, and I feel like we need to be there repent sending you know, the party in every way we can. My cousin ran for president that you know, a few years back, and one of the biggest disappointments I noticed during his campaign was that the Republican Party wasn't doing that outreach in the Hispanic community. And so that was one of the main, like the major reasons I got involved because I realized how important it was, and so I need to figure out a way, you know, make sure we get out there and start doing what they were failing to do. I noticed that Trump's campaign actually did that by putting, you know, different offices in the Hispanic community community areas, and I thought that was a great idea. So I'm hoping that the RNC continues to do stuff like that, which I believe they started, but I'm hoping they show more of a presence. And so I'm not gonna let you just like just drop that as an aside about your cousin who ran for president, and not tell people who your cousin was. Actually how we met because I was a supporter of your of your cousin as well. Tell everybody who your cousin is. My cousin is Marco Rubio. But yeah, that's that's how we met, though. I mean, we both saw something with him, and I mean, of course, you know, I had to support of his family, you know, but but I believed in his ideologies as well, and so um, I hit the ground running with him and was able to meet you, which was a blessing. Yes, absolutely, it's been a blessing to meet you as well. I always brag about you, didn't could anybody, um when these when these subjects come up, because I'm so proud of you. And one thing that I saw when we were both volunteering on that campaign was how how smart of a strategist you are and how you are connected to the average person. You understand the average person, and you understand what the average voter is looking for their wants, their needs, their desires, their strengths, their fears, they're all all of those things. And in politics, you don't see a lot of people that are like that because a lot of people either don't understand the average person or actually have disdain for the average person. And one of the things that I saw in you very early on was that you understand what the average person wants and needs. So talk a little bit about your personal background and where you come from and how you were able to have that ability to understand the average person. Yeah, it's humble beginnings. Um, we didn't have a lot of money growing up in my neighborhood. I was actually the one who was the most well off because we actually had running water, you know. So it's it's humble beginnings. And I think from there seeing all the struggles in my family went through, you know, to make it and then and you know, to be able to take care of us, my dad how much he had to work and stuff. So I really got to understand from a young age age what it was like to struggle and to make it. And then I ended up taking over a business myself, and that's not easy running a business. Has been very hard, especially you know, I got started and my business during the Obama years was and that was really difficult. And now during the Biden years, it's even gotten harder. So I get it. I get it. And I'm also a mama, and being a MoMA makes you realize like how important politics are because it's going to affect my kids, you know, now that they're getting older, they're they're all about to face what I've had to deal with, you know, and it affects your everyday life. I mean, you can't even go to the grocery store right now without paying one hundred dollars more week on groceries at this point, so you know, it matters. And I think, once again, I mean I just get it. I get it. I you know, struggled, I understand, you know, right right absolutely, And so talk a little bit about where, like when did you first develop an interest in politics? What made you want to look at this crazy world? What what made you start to pay attention to politics, believe it or normal? This is where it gets a little controversial. Uh my, um, at the time I was in high school. Um, well, I mean, well growing up my grandfather, well, let me put it this way. Growing up, my grandfather always taught politics to us. I mean, you know, he escaped communism my family came over here, uh you know, so we always heard the struggles about what it was like there and what you know, what the people were going through, and how we didn't want that to happen here. So that was something that was kind of like from the time I was a little kid, I was listening to those stories and you know, what happened in Cuba, and you know, realizing like how important it is to make sure we don't have socialism and communism here in this country. So that from early on was you know, always in my head and always, and that's something we live every day in our community. We know that. And then in high school, my mother was pregnant with my brother and he had a chromosome disorder and basically there was nothing they can do to save him, you know, so he ended up, you know, when she went into labor. He ended up passing away during her labor. And it was at a time where in our government class in high school they were talking about pro life, pro choice issues. So I ended up signing up because it was kind of one of those things we had to pick a side, and I was the only one who picked the pro life side, and I ended up. Yeah, I ended up being myself and then one girl who was absent who ended up coming back and got stuck with me. Um, but I ended up arguing so well that the teacher was actually in shock. He said he didn't realize some of the talking points that I had were legit. He didn't he didn't even know some of the knowledge that I gave them, and I had changed his mind. So that to me was when I realized, like, Okay, I can do this political thing. I'm good at arguing, I'm good at making points. So that's where I kind of started. Now, if I'm not mistaken, I'm not. I'm not telling you to I'm not asking you to reveal your age and on the air. But you and Marco are not that far apart in age, right, right, right? So the sister used to baal your kids. Okay, So what was what was that like? What has that experience been like having a a famous cousin in the political field. I could imagine that. Um, I know if it was me, you know, it would be very very hard for me not to cuss out people who were talking bad about my cousin. So what has it been like having such a famous cousin who ran president in the political world. You know, I'll say the majority of the people seem to like him, so that part's been easy. But definitely there's been a few who have come after me or attacked me about Marco and I kind of just roll with it. I have no problem defending him, and I've been you know, I've done that since since he's been in the political world. But because he's a good guy. Like, ultimately, Marco is a good guy, you know, as a as a man, and as his father and a husband, he's a good he's a good guy, you know, So it's not hard to defend him. But um, it has been kind of cool. I won't lie. Having a cousin who ran for president and he's a great senator. I mean, it's easy. It makes it easier to brack, I'll put it that way. Right, we're talking with the Lisa Slider, who is running for national chair of the r nha UM. First of all, when is your When is the election? Uh Ford chair? It's on May eighth, which is Monday, Yeah, coming up, so not too far from now. UM talk a little bit about some of the things should you should you become chair, what's some of the things that you want to do? What's uh, what's the next level you know for the organization? You know, should you become chair? Next level is definitely outreach and growth UM those we have to grow this organization rapidly because we've got elections coming up soon and we need to make sure the outreach is there. I think UM Republicans sended failing on our messaging, especially for reaching out to younger generations and the Hispanic community. So that is going to be something that I hope our organization will be able to change and maybe lead in the fourth front on that and get others to follow. So that's one of my goals. I want everybody to know who the RNHA is and maybe kind of get them to jump on board with us and realize that things have to change if we want to change the country's path. Right absolutely. You know, one thing that we've talked about before with both both of our communities is the importance of having competition for our votes, because without that, you know, we get ignored and and taken for granted. So talk about in your in your view, and in your words, why it's important for both parties to compete for the Hispanic vote, Why it's important for Republicans to address Hispanic issues as well and not just leave that solely to the Democratic Party. Um, well, it's definitely important for outreach on both sides. I think people a lot of people get we're getting a lot of new immigrants coming to the country, and they don't know our politics. So if there isn't outreach, they're not going to know which side to go for, especially if our side is not doing as well when it comes to outreach. I mean, you know, unfortunately, people will will tend to go more Democrat because they think that's you know, the party's telling them that they're the nice ones, they're the ones that are okay, Republicans are fascists, stay away from them, you know. And and our messaging is silent. I mean, you bear, you don't hear anything. You don't hear anything from our side the way you do the Democrat side. So if we don't step over our game, if we don't fix it, I mean, we're just going to continue to lose that vote, and it's it'll be devastating, it'll be desastating because you know, I don't know if anybody else can do this, but I don't think I can stand another four years of a Biden administration, So yeah, they kind of need to fix that quick. Bast prices and the food prices ain't no joke, man, I don't want to walk. I don't want to start walking. I even buy chickens. I got some chickens. Eggs were too extensive. You're making fun of me about that. We talked about the phone the other day and you were just like random, like, oh yeah, I got some turkeys in mind in the baste car. You're like, oh yeah, they weren't mine, but it was so random. It was so random. I had turkeys in the car, so random. You yeah, you're like yea at some chickens too, like one. I'm from Vegas, so this is like a whole new world for me. I mean, granted, don't get me wrong. I mean I buy and sell hay for a living, which is random enough. But I never had chickens and stuff like that before. And now I moved to Texas and all of a sudden, here I am live in this country life. Some chickens kicking up other people's turkeys. You're gonna have a Noah's Ark of animals, right. Oh man, this has been a pleasure. I'm so glad that we were able to do this. Let everybody know how they can keep up with you on social media. You're very active on social media, so let them know where to follow you and all that good stuff. Hey, I'm um Lakubana misfit and I'm that on Instagram and on Twitter, and I do have that on Facebook as well, but I'm also a Lisa VF. I know that's random on Facebook and um yeah we and oh before be sure to check out the RNHA dot org. We need all the support we can get, so follow me, follow them on social media, check out the website. I'd appreciate it. And lasting you know, you have such a such a really really awesome story, and one day I hope you get to tell it all because you have a really really amazing story. For people who are listening now, especially especially young women and young girls who might have an interest in politics, or might have an interest in policy in general or something involved in this world, what what word of advice would you give to them? Jump in, just do it, go for it. Speak your mind, don't let anybody to hold you back, and don't be afraid. Don't be afraid. You're gonna have a lot of haters. That's okay. You know the best thing to do is just to keep talking and do it with a loving heart, and hopefully they'll hear you eventually and then start to understand. Awesome, awesome, Thank you so much, my dear friend. I'm so glad you came on. Congratulation sends on running for this and good luck and thank you. I believe you're gonna do well. Thank you, thank you for having me on. I've been I've been meaning to get on here. Yeah, appreciation, thank you. Stay tuned. We have more of the Outlaws coming up next. We really appreciate it. UM some a bit of interesting news that I was told a couple of days ago, Miss Raley, that it's gonna have huge ramifications for our states. So I went to a mixer by the Greater Cleveland Film Commission. And for those of you who don't know, the Greater Cleveland Film Commission are the ones who are responsible for bringing movies and TV shows into Cleveland to shoot UM and they've been really successful. They've had a lot of a lot of projects have come here, a lot of people have gotten jobs, people have gotten work built. Most longtime listeners of this show will remember also Bill Garvey, the president of the Greater Cleveland Film Commission, has been on this show. We're working on getting him back on as well, especially in light of the news that we're just received. So to pull peel back the curtain, a little bit and let you guys know how this how this stuff works. A lot of these different markets all across the country have film toxic credits. It started because, of course California. The state of California is a nuthouse and it's very expensive to do anything in California. So these movie studios and corporations started looking for alternatives where they could shoot projects with it not costing as much as it would in California, or a New York as well, because New York is very expensive to shoot. So several of these states have tax incentives. The one that you probably know the most about, obviously is Georgia. There's a lot of projects that go on in Georgia after Georgia. You know, Georgia's kind of like the success story of the taxing center. Once they put in their tax incentive. You know, thousands upon thousands of projects have been shot in Georgian. It's created a billion dollar business. I know Robert and I both know people who have went to Georgia to work on projects in the industry. So Georgia's kind of like the the gold standard in terms of how the acent, how the tax incentive could work. So here in Ohio. We have a tax incentives, and the tax incentive currently as it stands is forty million dollars a year with is way too low. What ends up happening every year is that there are always more projects that want to come to Ohio, that want to come to Ohio, generally in Cleveland specifically, and we always run out of money because there's never enough because the taxan center is just too low. Right. So there's been a push for years and years and years to raise the cap of the taxan Center to make it more competitive with other states across the country. And eventually the goal is to replicate up here what Georgia did. And so there's been a push, like I said, for years and years. Sometimes it's been easy, sometimes it's been difficult. Most of the time it's been a difficult fight. Right. But going to this mixer and the president of the Film Commission updated us, updated everybody in the room on where this where we stand with everything? Well, a bill as of I'll say, what is this? As a Friday, April twenty eight, a bill passed the House, the Ohio State House that increased the tax in cent of from forty million dollars a year to seventy five million dollars a year, which is a really really big deal. Not only that, but in the Senate, in the state Senate, there is a bill right now that would uncap the taxing cent of which is similar to Georgia. So either one of those bills would be you know, transformational for the state of Ohio. Obviously, the uncapped one would have the big it gets impact because that incentive is set up, is structured like Georgia. But even the seventy five million is far in a way better than what than that forty million right now. And the reason why that's important is up here, you really the way you get a twenty four to seven economy in the entertainment industry where people can work, you know, full time, where they it can be a full time job and they don't have to moon like doing other stuff, is the incentive has to be high enough so that people can start like building buildings, like infrastructure, like sound stages and all that kind of stuff. And just at forty million, it's just too low. It's just too low. It doesn't make sense. You raise it to seventy five million a year, or you raise it to it being uncapped. Now that gives an incentive for film studios and other you know, independent companies and stuff like that to actually build you know, sound stages and things like that so that people can work in the entertainment industry in the state twenty four to seven and that can be their main like their main job, that's what they do. M So that is absolutely huge, a bit of a bit of news that impacts our home because we're we're based out of Cleveland. Um, it's really good news. And like I said, I'm gonna try to get We're trying to get Bill Gurvey, the president, Bill gar the president of the Great cleveand Film Commission. We're trying to get them back on the show, um to kind of talk a little bit more about it and uh and spend a little bit more time talking about it than I am right now because I'm kind of given the condensed version, UM, but just wanted to take a minute and up and update that. Obviously for you as a actress as well, Robin, that has an impact on you. So you play wait wait, I was sitting here eating chocolate cover raisins in like like setting here waiting like okay say it, say it like you were you're killing me. It was lling me. Yeah, So I mean that's a that's a big deal, man, that's a big deal, especially the fact that the increase has already passed in the house. So this thing is, it's happening. It's happening. Listen. I already know who to go to too. I already know who to go to. Who's gonna be the big dog in the movies. I already know who it is, because listen, I'm already taking Listen, I'm updating my acting right now, taking acting classes currently. Yeah, speaking of which, Ancil movie get ready to come? Also, uh uh, it's been a lot of delays, but yeah, I think it's supposed to be coming out this summer from what I hear. Um. Actually, the person who produced it, wrote it and everything. Uh, they he was here in Cleveland and he moved actually what you were just talking about is to Georgia. So he got into a lot of movies, a lot of acting. So that's part of the reason it kind of was delayed. And then the pandemic et cetera, et cetera. So it is supposed to be coming out. Um it's called Credence the movie. Um, so that should be coming out this summer, so, uh, tell tell the audience a little bit before we go to break, tell the audience a little bit about what you uh, what your role was in that movie? Oh god, you know I think. Okay, let me just say before I go there. Okay, I'm the good friend and and and I play roles. Listen, then it is necessary I play roles that are needed and necessary. Okay, Uh, only only time of my friends I'm loyal to in those areas unless it's a paycheck. Um. But so my role in the movie is actually like a Susan like a Karen type of thing, um where I you know, obviously, I'm sure everybody that has social media knows what exactly that is. You know, the complainer, the cop caller, you know, the um placing things upon people that you know, judgment upon people that's not even what they are. They may look one particular way, and that my my character is judging a person based off of their career and off of how they look basically, So that is that would be mine and anybody who knows Robin, who knows Robin personally, or even people who listen to this show, y'all have to know how hilarious. It is that she's playing a Terran. You know what. When we were on set, it's so funny because they kept telling me to like give that attitude right, but also like, you know, I had to have the proper talk, you know, I don't want to say I had to have the proper you know where you properly speak, you know, you properly say your words, um English, if you may. But I also had to have an attitude. And I kept telling them, I said, listen, you know me. So it's one way or the other. You can't have it both ways. At the same time, it's I don't know how to do to show attitude but not hood. I'm having to do that, like it's impossible. We took up a couple of takes for that. Oh man, I can't wait. First of all, I can't wait to see the movie. Um, I can't wait to see your role in it. Um. I know you did a great job. I am going to thoroughly enjoy watching you be a Karen. Oh. You know what, I have been so nervous about it, like every since you did it. I'm like, you know what, I want to see it, but I don't want to see you know where you take pictures or like when you're drunk one night and then the next day you're like everybody recorded you or something you did being wild. Hey, you thought you looked good when you was drunk, but then when you looked at it the next day, you're like, oh, like yeah, so that's kind of where I'm scared at. But but when I recorded in that area, I will say I've grown a lot since. Um. So, yes, that was my first movie that I've ever been a part of. Um, there were other things that I was supposed to get into, but things happened obviously. Um, but I will say with if anybody is thinking about being an acting and things like that, you know, you really have to be too open to the whole thought of it's okay to look goofy, like it's okay and you just be that character, like, don't put too much thought into it. Just be right, be natural, just be and um yeah, that's really it. I mean them acting classes are paying off. So but yeah, excited And I'm getting into voice over work you guys, so keep your eyes out for that as well. Well. Ere that's that's gonna be dope. That's gonna be dope. Um. But yeah, it's a lot of stuff, uh, a lot of stuff going on in our backyard. A lot of good news, especially that impacts us directly, um, in this industry. Um, and I'm glad to see it. Be glad to see uh all these good people because there's a lot of good people in this state. Be happy to see the good people here, you know, being able to benefit from this stuff as well, um, year round. That's that's gonna be awesome. That's gonna be real dope. All right, so stay too. We will be right back after this fuck up. True sir, walcome back, walcome back. You're listening to the Outlaws, and now it's the time to show the weally like to call tea time with Rowe. Turn it up the latest celebrity news and gossip. It's Tea Time with Row on the Outlaws Radio show. All right, Jah. So yeah, I got a few little things for you guys today. Some of it's a little hot, summer's a little warm, but we always add the honey in the tea. So we're gonna start it off with the foo foogies fogies alright, Fujie's Rapper Prize. Michael he was found guilty on ten counts of international fraud. Uh. You know, when I read that, I'm like, why why? Why? Okay, why would you put yourself into that position when you already you're already good? Like I said, He worked with the Malaysian businessman named John Lowe, who once paid Michael twenty million just to get a picture with Barack Obama. Well, that's really threw me. That kind of threw me. This whole story is crazy, But go ahead. So Michelle funneled the money low gave him, and even making multiple donations to Barack Obama's twenty twelve reelection campaign. He was essentially using the money giving to him to grab power for the Chinese government and also rid of any investigation attempts into law. Michael was also paid to persuade the US to extradite a Chinese government critic suspected of crimes there without registering as a foreign agent. Said that he was unaware that he was committing any crimes. I well, first of all, the story is wild as hell. It's wild as hell left on a number of different reasons. First, UM, I believe prize that he probably didn't know. Um, but they always say inness of the laws, no excuse, right, but also too, um like this goes into that whole kind of conversation. Remember we kind of, um, we touched we've we've touched on that on the show before about a lot of stuff that China's doing. Well, basically they were basically using Prize to launder money to get influenced by That's wild. Um, It's something that's common, you know, trying to has their money in all sorts of places in America. Um, but the fact that Prize got caught up in it is is pretty it's pretty wild. I hope I hope he doesn't serve a lot of jail time because really, who they really need to be going after to do with the money. But I mean, that's a being an unregistered foreign agent as a serious charge. You could spend twenty thirty something years in jail in prison for that. Wow, all because somebody basically just framed him and light on him. And yeah, because I don't think he don't and I could be wrong, I could be Yeah, allegedly, I don't think he knew. I don't think he knew like what was going on. There's a lot of people who've been getting caught up and a lot of this Chinese money that's floating around. Um, so I would be surprised if you knew. I would be surprised if you do, because you'd have to be stupid to do it, to know what's going on and still do it. Like I think that's stupid. Yeah, that's taking a big, big chance. Hell yeah, hell yeah. But I mean, dude gave a hundred million dollars and prize was just like, I ain't asking no questions. Yeah, so maybe you know, and that should teach us all a lesson, that's right. Ask questions first. The money may sound good, Yeah, ask questions first. My grandmother used to say all the time, all money ain't good money. So it may sound good, that's right. I can go left real fast, and then you be regretting it, So that's right, that's right, you'd be locked in jail. So yeah, all money ain't good. So next, okay, So the next one, Um wait, where's it at? Okay? So the next one we are going to talk about versus h So as we all know who Nicki Minaj is, well, a lot of us do, and a lot of us also know who Little Kim is. They're both female rappers. Um. So recently Swiss Beats, who is the I believe he's the founder and the of the verses, right, yes, so he Swiss Beats responds to speculations of a possible Nicki Minaj and Little Kim verses, and that is like, oh my god, like because it's like the old age rap, you know from you know, from what we was growing up. And you know, Nicki Minaj she had some really good music too. But I think they both they both got some fire thrilled and but I don't you know, a lot of people, you know, I was reading throughout comments and stuff. A lot of people think like, oh, that's that's dope. But other people are saying, like, that's not really the the um the two you should have lined up, Like they're thinking that Nicki Minaj and and um Little Kim aren't exactly in the same category, if you may, or maybe that's why, well why are they saying that, Well, they're not in the same time frame. But yeah, because like they were saying, um, you know, there was another artist that they were saying that she should have put the should have with her. Um, So somebody people are saying Foxy'll go up against Kim, Well, Foxy Brown Little Kim hate each other. They've actually their crews have actually shot at each other before. I don't think so. I don't think that's a good idea. Well that is, that's the suggestion in the comments section. I don't think that's a good idea. Um. And I don't think Foxy could win that because I think Little Kim has more hits. Even though I love Foxy Brown. I'm a Foxy Brown fan too. Um. I like the idea of Little Kim and Nicki Minaj. I'm actually surprised because I know Little Kim and Nicki. They also didn't get along. Um, so if that were to happen, I'd be really surprised. But I mean, you know, I and I and you know I don't dislike Nicki, but you know I'm going with with Little Kim all day. I like them both. I really do, because I mean I think for the different for different reasons. Yeah, you know, because Little Kim, you know, she's she's got her hits, like I said, you know, obviously from us growing up. But I feel like Nicki Minaj does have some really really good music. You know, he's not she can rap when she wants to you know, fire with you has your mouth talk about what she wants to. Well, you know, if you don't do it all well, you know, if you don't do it all the time. You know, she don't really spit like that all the time, but when she wants to know, she got it, like she be hitting the bars. Yeah. So I think it would be a dope one to see like and it both have you know, their own little personalities, and I feel like it would it would It would be very entertaining. I do definitely right now, if you through like we'll say, I don't know. I mean, well, Cardi B really ain't got as much hits. I would say, Um, if you were to do Cardi against Nikki because you know they also battle, Um, yes, that would be a very interesting one if that was to be something. I don't know if Carty, I don't know if Cardi has enough hits. Um, I don't know if you've been around long enough. But I and I know some people some people don't like her. I love me some Cardi B. I love her personality. She's great because he real and she don't care like she just she came it all the way, all the way one hunter and there's something refreshing about that to me. Yeah. Yeah, I love her personalities, like so you you have no no uh shocking things happening, you know for you know, like she's gonna be her and that's what you get period. Yeah, what you see is what you get. Yeah, I love me some Cardi B I know, I know a lot of people don't like it, but I love me. I like them both for their own particular reasons. But I also see here that somebody says Nikki and Drake would also be a good one. Oh, that would be a good one. That would be a good one. I still would rather see her in Kim now, Yeah, yeah, I'd rather see her in Ki. I think that. I think that would be the best one. Look after her after the show, I'm being running to to YouTube, like you know, let me do the comparison real quick. Yeah, ye, Jim would win him open. I mean with her a little crazy dance she'd be doing, you know whatever, and she got I mean, I don't know, it's she'd original, you know what I mean? She original? So she did that like we said off air, you know what I mean, Like you said, she she paved that way exactly paved that way. So for all the other female rappers, she paved that way. Yep. Nick. So the next one, oh, well, this one, I hate to end it like this, you guys. I'm sorry. Oh actually, you know I have two. Can I do both of them? Do both? Okay? So I'm going to this one first and then we're gonna end it with a better note. Um. So this one is not quite happy, go lucky. This one is a legend. We'll say he is the um. He is the tupocket big he of talk show hosts. Yeah, I know where you're going. He is the legend. Okay, he is the king of petty and starting stuff, the dramacking, if you may, but so. Legendary talk show host Jerry Springer passed away yesterday at the age of seventy nine. It was not due to old age. Jerry Springer has been battling cancer for the past couple of years. I didn't know that. Yeah, yeah, I was reading about it. And it's really sad he was. Yeah, but he was still happy all the way through. From what I see. He was, you know, great personality, smiling, living his life. You know, that's sad, and it's like for US nineties kids, you know, like because listen, we had no listen, we ain't have no right to be sitting there watching his TV show, No none at all. But listen, when we stay home from school, we stick or something, you know, kicking it at the house whatever. After school, we was there watching Jerry Spinger show. You know, Jerry Jerry, And you know what I mean. A lot of people are saying, like, dang, I ain't get my Jerry beats. But for those of who don't know, Jerry Beads was when you flash everybody in the audience, you know you're top part. As a female, you get Jerry Beads. Well, I think males could do it too, and they got Jerry Beads. But when the women do it. Yeah, But you know what, it's crazy because before his show got canceled, which it was on air for quite some time. Yeah, I can deaf, I can say, and I'm sure you can agree with me. If his show was to be on right now in this time, he would have been canceled for the simple fact of everybody, oh now now everybody too sensitive, way too sensitive today for that show. Yeah, listen, and I went back on his page watching a bunch of clips and I'm like, dang, he was real toxic heat. But you know what he was also not just a talk show host. Um, everybody doesn't know, but you know, he was also a judge at one point. And wasn't you saying that was he? Like, uh, he was here? Yeah, he was, he was. He was a politician first, he used he's from he was in Ohio. He was he used to be to Mary Cincinnati. As a matter of fact, Um, probably maybe ten or fifteen years ago, maybe in a little bit longer. He used to have a radio show on local radio here in Cleveland. Um, so yeah, Jerry Springer had ties to Ohio for a long time, even before people knew who he was. And uh and the crazy show that he watched. But a lot of people don't know that. You know, Jerry Springer used to be married Cincinnati. Wow. Shout out to him, though, I mean, and rest in peace to him. Um, and I hate yeah, yeah, you know, And I'm sure a lot of people can relate. You know, so many people lose family members and friends and dude to that. Yeah, yeah, I've lost a lot of people that I love. Dear Lady cancers after Yeah, it's it's unfortunate. Is definitely very unfortunate. Um so my condolences to his family. Absolutely. All right, let's close us on a good note. So we got close this on a good note. It's actually look list a little te little tea teeth, little razzle, dazzle for your spirit if you may. So you know, we absolutely love a shanty here on this show. That's our girl. We love shanty like period. Yeah. We almost got into a fight at her concert and Dante is like a huge fan of hers. So but so this is gonna be upsetting for him, sorry to tell you. So a shot and her ex Booting, they spun the black Nellie. Yep, he is back with Nellie. She she was. She was spotted holding hands with him in Las Vegas and she was just out on date night with her ex new Booting. So yes, And that's crazy because like since that's been they haven't dated in like since what like, oh my gosh, it's years over over a decade longer yeah, actually longer probably like oh yeah, it wanted that old wanted that old thing back. Yeah, I'm a saying like this though I love Nellie, I do, I do. But if you heard her, we're coming for your We're coming for you. Do not hurt her. So here's my question. Is there anybody that you would ever run it back with me? Yeah? Nope, nope, it because for her, it all depends on how they ended and the growth that the you know what I'm saying. But listen, as I personally grow, you know, and I heal and then you when you growing, the heal and then you look back and you were like like, oh you said that's so quick. No, like no, no, And you know what, as I think about it, I don't think I would either the one the one woman that I would consider running it back with. It would just be very hard, like because you know how this is like once I once I'm in, I'm in once I'm out of my out Listen, yeah, that's how That's how I am. Like, So once I fall off from you, you're just gonna look goofy trying to get me back because it's it's not gonna happen, and it's not gonna happen because once you push me to that limit is we're done. We're done. Sorry to say that. So like, while you got me and you got my attention, you better do it right, that's all right, all right, miss O'Malley, let him know how to follow you.
